What's on your weekend "to-do" list?
I'm going to see Eat, Pray, Love. I've read mixed reviews. I will have my own for you after I check out the movie.
Another great find...
Can someone please toss me a bag of money?
So I am in a transition mode which is costing me a buttload of money. Last night I decided to go out for drinks with a new group of women and what happens... my check engine light comes on. Of course it does--my car title is still warm from the hands of the banker so it's right about time that I experience car trouble.
Isn't this about a you-know-what!!??! Hopefully, prayerfully it's not something that will break the bank.

Look who I interviewed today..........
KimK was at this year's Market America in Greensboro, NC. She was very nice and super short. However, she was wearing 5 1/2 inch heels. And to think I thought I was doing something with my measley 4 inches.

It's raining.... it's raining. The perfect time for me to take a hot bath, curl up under my fresh sheets and catch up on the DVR recordings.
Looks like it will be a night of drama. Here's what's on my list:
1. Hawthorne
2. Covert Affairs
3. 2 episodes of Y&R (don't judge. It's the only soap I watch)
4. Housewives of New Jersey
5. Rizolli & Isles
I'm not exactly sure when I will get married.... or for that matter if I will ever marry. BUT when I do, I will be wearing Amsale
The NY based designer burst on the scene not too long ago and she is taking the bridal world by storm.

Her dresses are very free flowing and they usually have pockets. When I say "I do," it will probably be in something like this....
Meet Amsale..
And this is her gorgeous NY studio

What's for Dinner: Oven Baked BBQ ribs
They are in the oven right now.
Let me preface this by saying--yall know I'm not a cook. Well, let me fix that. I'm an average cook. I'm not a southern girl, make from scratch, cake bakin type of girl. But I do what I do when I do it.
So anyway. I boiled some boneless beef pork ribs for about 20 min--per my mother who is THAT southern cook. She says that makes them tender and takes the fat off (which it did--gross!)
I mixed some of my favorite bbq sauce, brown sugar and a little garlic in a bowl. Put the ribs in a baking dish, poured the sauce on top and covered them with aluminum foil.
They are in the oven now and smelling mighty yummy!
A little mac and cheese (Velvetta tonight) and some fresh green beans and it's a wrap.
Happy eating!!

Another great find..
I found this cuff at Burke's. $3.99
I pay a lot of money for suits and a decent amount for shoes. I feel that they are investments. However, I love going on a trasure hunt for cheap accessories.
This one will be worn after office hours. How cool is it?
Cute black dress, black peep toe pumps, gold and black over sized earrings and my cute new cuff. Is it Friday yet?

I will try almost anything once--ALMOST. So after all of the hype I've been hearing for years about "nutella," I decided to buy some. GROSS...... I hated it.
The funny thing is that almost everyone compared it to peanut butter. This stuff taste nothing like peanut butter.
This will go the the break room. That's where I take my slowly dying bananas, fruit and anything else I want someone to eat in a few hours.
Nutella is NO for me. So they can have that too.
