Is anyone else surprised that Chelsea Clinton's upcoming nuptials is getting so much attention. It seems as if no one even cared when that Bush girl got married.

Check out the new condo of Alicia Keys and her new fiance Swizz Beatz. Nice.

I tried to be lazy today and NOT go to the gym. But then I started to feel guilty..so I decided to make use of my FitTV.

I did 30 min of Masala Bhangra and another 20 min of Power Circuit Abs with Jackie Warner.

Ouch!!! Usually my abs don't hurt until the next day... ugh, no. My abs hurt at this very moment. But I think this is supposed to be a good thing. Ouch!!!!

Oh well, whatever it takes to get me in my Labor Day bathing suit;)

I'm hearing REALLY good things about Angelina Jolie's new movie 'Salt'. I will admit, I had no interest in seeing the movie. Call me silly, but I'm Team Anniston.

But I guess I will grow up a bit and check it out this week. Besides, it's not opening weekend anymore anyway.

Closet Freak: Whitney Port

This is the dressing room/closet of fashion designer Whitney Port. It makes me love her even more. I've been toying with using my guest room as a dressing room/office///whatever I want it to be. She even personalized it with photos and her favorite magazines. Cute==Go Whitney!

I went back to Walmart (my favorite place)--yeah right! But I did find these great lamps. $25 each for the lamp..

$20 for the shade. Yep...cool new bedroom lamps for under 100 bucks!

I try to be one of those people who buy things and get rid of things at the same time... I "try."


I got the idea from Lady O last year. She said that you should keep a box in the closet or somewhere nearby. That way when you buy something new, you can find something not so new, or something that you haven't worn all season and donate it.

But have you ever donated something by accident.

Well, I did. I had this great men's pin stripped button down shirt that I think is now in the hands of the Goodwill...and I am not a happy camper.
It looked A LOT like this one....
I wanted to pair it with my cut-off jean shorts and some cute wedge sandals. So much for that!

I found it! I found it! It was in a drawer that it shouldn't have been in.

Good morning blog world!!! It's the weekend and what better way to give it a jump start than to head to the salon--I'm being phececious.

Hopefully this won't be an all day process. I have things to do and rest to get;)

About to do some damage...

Today I hit a bit of a snag with my entreprenuer endeavor. The biggest client I was looking to book.... backed out.

I'm not going to stress about it. However, it did piss me off especially since we were going to ink the deal in two weeks.

I'm not back to square one but I am back to looking at my current job in a different perspective.

***screaming***

I should have expected it. Things were too perfect and this deal just sort of landed in my lap.

What's the saying? When one door closes, another one opens.

I guess....

I am on a bit of a LOVE high today.

The past few months have been a bit rough. But I've always known that the honeymoon wouldn't last forever..... But the love does.

I'm the last person to give relationship advice but I will say that if you believe in what you have, fight for it.... AND be patient--that's the hard part (well, for me it is).

It's work.

But it's work that I don't mind doing.

These are things I could get away without for a day or two. Not anymore. They are now necessities. lol. This aging thing is a mess..... a HOT mess.
