Monday is for meatloaf .... and Tuesday is for leftovers.

I made the BOMB meatloaf yesterday. It was a super simple recipe which turned out great!

I'm convinced you can't go wrong with Lipton Onion Soup mix.

The First Lady is headed to the Gulf Coast this month to survey the damage from the oil spill. BP is rapidly approaching the 100 day mark. I love our first couple but I think there has been enough surveying, it's time for the federal government to intervene.

This man-made disaster is interfering with the livelihood of these people. Screw BP, make them pay the bill once we fix the problem.

I'm trying to figure out what's next for my life.

I've always known that I wanted to be my own boss...but with that comes A LOT of work.

But I think I'm ready. Why the heck not?!!

But first thing is first... my MBA... oh Lord. I don't want to do it but I know it's a must.

Let the research begin....

About that LOVE bug....

If I haven't learned anything in my 29 years, I know one thing: Love is a crazy, crazy thing.

First of all, it comes into your life at THE MOST unexpected time. And then it pounces on you.

Later, just when you start to get comfortable with the joys of being in love, love makes you completely uncomfortable. It makes you weary, it tests you and sometimes it makes you VERY angry.

Then all of a sudden, when you are having those second thoughts about it, love soothes. It eases your pain... and let's you know that it never left.

Gotta love, Love.

Coffee Table Find

I was at Ross a couple of weeks ago and I found this excellent book. It's basically a photo album of the First Lady's fashions.

I love, love, love the book at the interviews with some of Mrs. O's designers.

Not sure why is was on clearance at Ross for $4.99 ..... but I'm glad it was.

There's nothing like a statement necklace to zhush up an outfit.

well it's about time!!!! this is the dress i ordered from FOREVER 21 last week. it was an impulse buy...but a cheap one at only $13.50 and with tax and shipping, it was still under 20 bucks.

i didn't notice there is a pocket on the dress (me no likely). so i wil just throw a my cute fitted bebe top over it instead. i tried it on and it's super cute.

i spend sooooooo much money on clothes and accessories, it's always nice to find a cheap find.

Another early morning workout for me. Not to say that I'm all that thrilled about it. What is it about exercise? Some people wake up and lace up their sneakers. It's almost like brushing their teeth... it's just something that they know they have to do.

But there are those of us who NOT MATTER WHAT---HATE---to exercise.

That's me.

I hate it.

But I love food.

Last night I had a gourmet 4 cheese burger from Village Tavern and a side of asparagus (which I'm convinced were drizzled with butter, not olive oil).

So because of my uncanny infatuation with great restaurants and even better food, I must exercise or else I would be as big as a house.

Oh well.

Lazy Sunday

I took off this weekend, and of course someone calls me from work with a question that could have waited.

Anyway, I'm back to my lazy Sunday of doing absolutely nothing. I'm planning to do some writing later and working on some other projects but nothing that will make me have to leave the house.
