The thing about insecurities....

So many times when we talk about insecurities in relationships, we think of women.

Maybe it's because we wear our heart on our sleeves, we love hard, or because we are afraid. Whatever the issue; tonight I learned that men can be just as insecure at times...especially when they are in love.

While it's not necessary to go into specifics: I think that sometimes things aren't always black and white in a relationship... sometimes it's not a matter or trust or mistrust. It's a matter of communication.

In order to love without boundaries, BOTH parties must ALWAYS keep an open line of communication. You may not agree with what the other person has to say but don't discourage the dialogue.

Love is a beautiful thing. Complicated, yet beautiful.

Apartment Therapy

The glory that is Aldo... I need this tan shoe in my life ASAP. The only thing I hate about Aldo is that they almost instantaneously mark their shoes down. But by waiting, you take the risk of them not having your size.

I might have to bite the bullet on this one though.

Rumor has it that Travis Barker and Rhianna may be teaming up again. I LOVE these two as individual artists...and I can't wait to see what they do together this time.

So I finally got my Census form and there it is..in big and bold print "Negro"

I don't know too many people who call themselves "Negro" in the 21st century. I wonder how the government is explaining this one.

Now that spring has sprung... I am on a mission for some white skinny jeans. Don't forget, I'm kinda tall..so that's the challenge!

Unit #M: Pretting up the patio

My mommy and my adorable nephew will be here this weekend. And the last thing on my "to-do" list is to pretty up the condo patio.

My neighbors inspired me to pick up a fern. I love them, they are super chic. I think I will stop by Pottery Barn later this week to find some outdoor pillows too.

I love a cozy patio...
